At Badaguish:
Our Care Team is under the personal supervision of Rhona Graham, Care Manager.
We have a fully trained and qualified team with 25 years expertise, skills and experience.

The Way we Work:
Our aim is for visitors to be happy and confident and looking forward to their visit to Badaguish (Family and friends too.)  Visitors are often old friends coming for many years to enjoy the relaxed, supportive atmosphere. They always enjoy meeting old friends, the opportunity to make new friends and to see the familiar faces of our team again.

  • Our holiday experiences are stimulating, interesting and fun.
  • We offer a wide a choice of outdoor activities, including canoeing, walking, biking and archery.

Activities at Badaguish include:

  • Indoor Games Room
  • 5-a-side Covered Sports Area
  • Outdoor Adventure Equipment
  • Trampoline
  • Visits to surrounding visitor attractions


Usual group size is 10 or less - together with 4-5 helpers,
this allows for the possibility of a 1:1 ratio if necessary and care
is taken to put together appropriate groups depending on age,
level of ability and whether individuals have a learning and/or physical disability. 


  • Twin rooms with the possibility of a single room
  • Two bathrooms with wheel-in showers
  • One bathroom with a free-standing bath
  • Hoists and toilet/shower chairs available

We have a strict NO SMOKING policy within the premises

  • Our Care Team is made up of female and male staff.
  • Our staff training focuses on the skills to create an intimate and supportive environment and on the importance of both staff and visitors sharing all aspects of daily living together.
  • Each individual visitor is encouraged to participate in the choice of programme and activities and full individuality will be recognised.
  • All our staff are employed according to the rules of the Scottish Social Services Council and we seek references and PVG Records for each member of the Care Team.
  • Badaguish is registered with the Care Inspectorate and the Adventure Licensing Authority. Care Inspectorate reports are available from their website or telephone
